| Introduction | I'm an "older" stay-at-home Mom who enjoys Hauiku: three-line poems composed of a 5-7-5 syllable pattern. They require concise language, yet express any idea from horrific to hilarious to holy. I think the best ones express one idea, with lines that could also stand on their own. My intention here is to welcome all moms to post Haiku about any aspect of parenting. To help us blow off steam, to help us remember to laugh, to help us connect with the poetic side of Mothering! |
