A few other favorites: Pride and Prejudice, Wuthering Heights, A Doll's House - Rumer Godden, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, Girl Meets God - Lauren Winner, Devil in the Details, Phillip Pullman, Tom Robbins, Nick Bantock's stuff, Ann Martin, Chris Wooding, Patrick McGrath, To Kill a Mockingbird, Rumer Godden, Anne Rice, A.S. Byatt, John Irving, Jodi Picoult (but only in small doses or she is annoying), Laura Ingalls Wilder, Asimov, Heinlein, I want to be a fan of Dune but I've tried 10X's and can't do it. |
