Introduction	Carl Palash was the Senior US Economist at the large hedge fund Moore Capital Management for close to 20 years. Prior to Moore, he was manager of the on-line analytical newswire service MoneyWatch, and Research Officer and Manager of the Domestic Research Department at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, each for over 10 years. He received a PhD in Economics with honors at the University of Pennsylvania.
