| Introduction | Grew up in a small town in Michigan. First realized I was overweight in 2nd grade. Voted Class Clown and Most Musical (read: biggest band geek) in my HS mock elections. Realized I was still overweight. Got my Music Education degree from Michigan State (*cough cough* band geek *cough*). Lost 70 lbs to join the Navy. Flew in the Navy until I got sick of getting airsick. Huge blow to my self-esteem (read: huge weight gain). Moved out to Twentynine Palms to be with my boyfriend who is a Marine and fell into my government contractor job as a Background Investigator. Now I'm just chillin' (as much as one can chill in this blazing desert). Oh, and I realized I was even more overweight than I was before and decided it was time to make a change. I was banded on Feb 11, 2011 and am having fun learning from all the other bloggers out there! |
