Introduction I am humbly grateful to be the mother of three delightful young children. Also, I am a self-employed bankruptcy attorney in Downtown Los Angeles.
Interests Raising my children, working with my clients, gardening, reading, poetry, yoga, tai chi, skating, bike riding, hiking with my dog, swimming laps, cooking for and hanging out with friends and family. I especially love visiting my elderly friends who are in rest homes or hospitals.
Favorite Movies Snow White. No, just kidding, though I did like that film... The best film I ever saw was an Icelandic adaptation of "Tristan and Isolde", which was entitled "Shadow of the Raven". It was set in the Middle Ages when Iceland was moving from Norse mythology to a belief in Christianity. "Shadow of the Raven" is closely followed by "The Naked Prey", starring Cornell Wilde. This movie was about a white hunter who takes other white people out on safari in Africa. The other white people manage to offend the natives, who end up chasing Cornell Wilde across Africa, trying to kill him. Though there's little dialogue, the movie doesn't need it, managing visually to artfully convey why the native Africans are so upset, and even justified in wanting to hunt down the safari guide.
Favorite Music I used to listen to the radio a lot, but I don't anymore. Recently I found a singer named Brother Alphonsus Mary on Youtube by accident--http://www.youtube.com/user/BrotherAlphonsusMary. He helps me put my baby to sleep every night!
Favorite Books "The Road to Emotional Maturity, " by Dr. David Abrahamsen, M.D. and "Emotional Common Sense" by Rolland Parker, Ph.D. also...."Meine Liebsten Gedichte" a German collection of poetry edited by Johannes Bobrowski and anything by William Sleator, Joni Hilton, Charles Portis or Jack Weyland.

What would you name your ballet inspired by the sight of children leaping through a garden sprinkler?

Why Kinderspielballet of course!
