Introduction	I'm just a simple, conservative, fun-loving girl. I like to cook and I like to eat. Not always a good combo! My cooking has been inspired by several great cooks in my life. My Mom, my Grandma Baker, my Aunts Janice, Florence, Pearl & Mary (just to name a few), my friend Evie Hansen (who has published several great cookbooks) and others. Since I was a kid I loved to thumb through magazines about cooking, as well as cookbooks with all of their colorful pages and often got ideas from them. I didn't always follow the recipes because maybe there was something in them I didn't like (tomatoes) or because I wanted to add something that was my own preference. You will find a lot of ingredients repeated over and over in my cooking. Onions, dill, lemon, Panko, and more. Why not stick with a good thing when you've found it?
