Introduction I am first and foremost a mother of 2 beautiful girls named Gianna (13) and Sydney (6). Together with my husband we live in the "burbs" of New Jersey about 30 minutes outside of NYC (which I take any opportunity to escape into!!!) I have a serious passion for food...obsession may be a better description. Everyday my brain revolves around what I am having for dinner. My career is a passion but one that supports my love of food...I own and operate a pilates/spin studio (so I can work off all those calories!!) My journey into fitness started in my first career as a nurse in which I learned the importances of health and wellness.... Through a long journey of self discovery (still a work in progress!) I have found balance in a job I love that gives me time to fantasize, shop for and create what I think is some fabulous healthful food! I am often asked my favorite question by my wonderful husband when he walks in from a long day of work, "what's cooking good looking??" (I know what you are thinking....every girl's dream!) Well it's mine and I would like to share a little of it with you and maybe in turn you can share a little of your love of food with me!
Interests I love to cook, at all times I must have music playing, I love hanging with my family, good wine and luckily my job encompasses my love for health and fitness so you are likely to find me spinning or doing pilates and/or yoga! Oh and saving the best for last I have a special place in my heart for Michael Buble!!
Favorite Music Anything and everything Michael Buble, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick, Dean Martin (pretty much any standard!) Mika, Ray Montague, Ingrid Michealson, Joss Stone, Norah Jones, U2, David Gray, Dave Matthews.... for just a few, I could go on forever!!
Favorite Books Not much of a book reader I am embarrassed to say, last book I loved was Eat, Pray, Love. My reading is dedicated to any cookbook I can get my hands on...I get just about every cooking magazine out there (my heart flutters when Bon Appetit is in my mailbox) and I love the Food and Wine section of The New York Times
