| Introduction | In 2004, I was (mis)led to believe that Nithyananda is a genuine enlightened master. I became involved in his cult under the illusion that I was part of a noble mission to elevate human consciousness, and as a result even quit my well paid job! Soon he gave me the special status of 'mayi' (which means mother) in 2005. I volunteered passionately for Nithyananda's mission with the single desire to spread his message of bliss, often neglecting my own health and family... until my shocking realization towards the end of 2009 that Nithyananda is 'no God nor enlightened master'... he is just a "master manipulator". If only I had known his true intentions, his hunger for money, power and lust... I would have never joined his cult! I regret the day I met him and fell into his trap. I have realized from my experiences that Nithyananda is a typical cult leader, a con-artist who has mastered the art of deception and mind manipulation; he is definitely NOT what he claims to be!! I hope you will be helped by this blog to make an informed decision and not fall prey to the deceptions and abuse by Nithyananda and his cult. |
