Introduction	I grew up in NC and went to Furman as an undergraduate where I fell in love with Special Education. During that time, I also fell in love with my sweet husband, Phillip. We married in 2004, and have been falling in love even more each year we're married. We lived in Charlotte for 5 years, during which I pursued a Masters and Ph.D. in special education. In 2009, we uprooted our lives to VA in pursuit of my dream to be a college professor. We live in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley with our three dogs Millie, Mollie, and Maci, and our cat Moshi. Phillip is pursuing a special education teaching career and we are patiently waiting to adopt our first child! Life is so good.
