| Introduction | Hi,I'm Maria,I've been an artist all of my life,from card making to crafts, I have always strived to include nature in all of my endeavors. My latest endeavor is incorporating East meets West. Using a watercolor technique from Japan & infusing this technique with the craft of pressing from the East. Using pressed flowers, seaweed , etc..I affix my pressings to watercolor stock add bark or slate to create the base, then I use sumi-ee watercolor technique to create the landscape, they are beautiful eye pleasing works... |
