| Introduction | Welcome to my blog. Here I will describe some of my crazy days and our unending projects. You will also get to see the crafts that I make and sell at craft bazaars and on my ETSY site-but you will see them in progress. I am Karen and I live with my husband Jon, on a small farm nestled in the mountains of southern Oregon. We have three daughters. (My step daughters) Mindi, is a Major in the Army, married and expecting again..., Alicia, graduated from Wilamette University, working in law enforcement and just bought her first house , and Alex is married to her high school sweetheart and expecting our grand daughter. We have been working towards our farm goal for 17 years and have had lots of obstacles to overcome to achieve our dream. We raise tibetan mastiff livestock guardian dogs, chickens gunieas and a mini donkey named Fiona. Of course we have the miscellaneous conglomeration of barn cats. Our animals provide the fiber that I use in my Liongate Design Studio. I love all kinds of fiber arts. I also create custom embroideries for whoever needs a logo for their rare breed farms. |
