| Introduction | I started The Colie Chronicles blog in 2008 to prevent complete insanity while on maternity leave. It didn't fully do the job but we all need a little crazy to make life more interesting. The Colie Chronicles sometimes includes pieces of me as a parent, a social worker, a friend and sister, but most often a certified germ-a-phobe and lunatic. 2010 was a crap year with the loss of my beautiful, smart, courageous, and very funny mother to pancreatic cancer so I can't guarantee that reading The Colie Chronicles will always make you smile but mostly, I hope it will. I write because it's what I love to do and I write to make you laugh...and maybe to encourage you to Purell yourself a bit. Seriously. Go wash your hands. |

Yeah, I said it - Taylor freaking Swift. |
