Introduction	It's a long road home and after all these years I wonder what bend it will be around.
Interests	raising chickens, digging in the dirt, drinking cold beverages inside and outside, growing food, stirring things up, trying not to step on all the animals in the house, making meals from scratch, taking tests, chicken therapy, wishing I had the time to break my horse, listening to too much NPR, weeding, mowing, not hammering because it gave me tennis elbow, lifting heavy objects, working out, smelling gross smells that come out of our animals
Favorite music	Old country. New country. Bluegrass and honky tonk. Dance music. Old rock. KEXP: The Roadhouse, Swingin' Doors, Shake the Shack and Preachin' the Blues. KUOW: American Routes.
Favorite books	Dorothy Allison, William Faulkner, Flannery O'Connor, John Steinbeck, Wendell Berry, William Cronon. The Contrary Farmer.
