| Introduction | The 30-year-old singer-songwriter's initial output as front man of the bicol based band BLAH ("lasngag," warner,1996),and subsequent recording of his debut solo album ("halo-halo,"repackaged as "may nakakatawa ba sa akin," ivory,2000)signaled the arrival of a major talent Those fortunate enough to have listened to the aforementioned albums agreed that the industry could benefit a lot with HAMMILAN's presence. but he withdrew from the scene and was gone for quite sometimes. Now HAMMILAN is back with a new album,the 10-track collection titled "DISKARTE".As in his previous solo release,this one he wrote,performed,recorded,arranged and produced by him self,with some help from his new band mates on a few guitar parts. "DISKARTE" showcases HAMMILAN's diverse gifts as a musician.The songs in this album complement his engaging live performance style.
