| Introduction | I am a Hebbar Iyengar born and brought up in the wonderful city of Bangalore, Karnataka. My parents are both good cooks which explains how I developed a passion for cooking. I would love to share all the wonderful recipes of the foods I grew up eating. Before I got married I cooked more of north-indian dishes. I hardly knew any south-indian cooking. My husband Sathyan taught me most of the south-indian dishes. His vegetable upma and dosas are a hit everytime among friends. I'm proud to say that I learnt south-indian cooking from Sathyan and a lot more from my mother-in-law. I'll be sharing a lot of authentic iyengar recipes for those iyengars out there.
