| Introduction | We’re sisters and we love to travel meet people learn about new cultures explore and have adventures in faraway places! In fact we’ve been dubbed The Intrepid Sisters and we think it’s an apt description. No package tours luxury hotels or tour buses for us!! Mary has traveled extensively throughout Mexico and Beth lived in Kenya for 6 months when she was in her twenties. And together we have spent so much time in Egypt over the past three years that it feels like our home away from home. This June we are going back to Egypt for two weeks and then we’ll head to Nairobi Kenya where we will spend another two weeks volunteering with the American Friends of Kenya (AFK) http://www.afkinc.org in Kibera the largest slum in Sub-Saharan Africa. |
