| Introduction | I am a strong, proud, intelligent Native American woman who strives everyday to be a better woman, mother, friend, and advocate of my life. I have four children who give me great purpose, "three who walk, and one who soars". Their love, support, souls and laughter are what sustain and nourish me. They also keep me young and very up to date on current affairs of adolescent minds... :) (shudders). More about me.........it depends on the day, I can be....quiet and reserved. A deep thinker who ponders the meaning of life and yearns to learn more about the world, a "glam" queen who can only think of what new outfit or new purse I need to buy, a power suit wearing, ball buster who is going to reach the top, a soccer mom who bakes cookies, chauffeurs the children, and does not think of the office or day planner, or a wine lover who enjoys solitude, mellow female singers, and a good book, so....... it depends on the day you ask me....so, it's hard to describe who I am, because it changes everyday..... ask me again tomorrow. :) |

| Favorite movies | Give me a good musical or a sappy romantic comedy any day! My all time favorite movie is 'Like Water for Chocolate!' But, I also love Dreamgirls, Sound of Music, Chicago, Moulin Rouge, Runaway Bride, Under the Tuscan Sun, Memoirs of a Geisha, Naturally Native, etc. I am a girlie girl when it comes to movies! No horror films here! I cannot seem to get into that at all. |
| Favorite music | My music changes with my mood. But, I mostly love smooth, sultry female singers.....Billy Miles, Norah Jones, Mary J. Blige, Fantasia, Sade, Joss Stone, India Arie (Love her lyrics), Alicia Keys, Cherokee, Corinne Bailey Rae... Definitely like old school music.... Brick House, Celebration, I Will Survive, Let's Stay Together, Ice Ice Baby (don't laugh!), Fever, etc... |
| Favorite books | I am an avid reader..... mostly non-fiction! I often read three books at a time about all issues and have a new interest in politics. Latest books are on Death, Grief, and Social Work. Doing a research project for my internship....... |
