| Introduction | After marrying my Air Force guy in 1997, I am living an adventurous life around the world. We live in Germany where we shipped our two horses and two dogs that are part of the family. I feel alive with farm chores, mucking stalls while kissing my horses on the nose. Living twice overseas has given me a humble perspective and an awareness of the world outside of the US. I have watched tennis live at Wimbledon and toured ancient cities in Turkey. I skied the alps of Italy. I toured Anne Frank's hiding place and saw her actual diary. I savored fresh chocolate from chocolatiers in Belgium. I have jumped into a preserved fox hole from WWII. I listened to debate while touring Parliament in London. I saw beautiful forest in Iceland. I celebrated Christmas in Sweden with a julbord. I putted on the green of St. Andrews in Scotland. I taught English in Cambridge. And I hope to experience so much more! My husband and I adore animals and enjoy volunteering at rescues. When we are finished with the Air Force world, we hope to own a ranch to raise a family and foster horses awaiting adoption. We’ll have Bible studies under a huge Oak tree with the smell of the earth! That would be bliss to me. |
