I am an Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Design Instructor at Drake State Community and Technical College, with a deep-seated passion for teaching and over six years of experience in the field. My background includes 15 years of industry experience in packaging, structural design, and manufacturing. I hold a bachelor's degree in Management of Technology, with a minor in Information Systems Management, and have earned multiple certifications such as Lean Six Sigma White Belt (LSSWB), NOCTI - Technical Drafting, and Post-Secondary PMI Instructor. Proficient in various CAD software and tools, I am committed to staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in manufacturing innovation. I take pride in designing and delivering an engaging and relevant curriculum that equips learners for the workforce and further education. Beyond teaching, I also mentor and coach students and colleagues, helping them to reach their full potential and achieve their career goals.
