Introduction | Little argument could be made to defend myself against the onslaught of generalized remarks that would fit an average American white suburban male with a wife, 3 kids, a dog, and a mini-van that so appropriately fits my median household income. I have a really nice lawn that I am quite proud of and the highlight of my day is all to often the refreshing taste of a cold beer after having put the kids to bed and settling down for another mindless yet entertaining evening in front of the television. I am a national suburban statistic! |
Interests | I'm deeply interested in faith... that is to say, why people believe the various things they do! Obvioulsy as a pastor, I'm interested in Jesus :-) But I admire a good discussion and enjoy just knowing people. I'm also interested in archery, duck hunting, mountain biking, good beer, & sport dogs. |
Favorite Movies | Pretty much anything Star Wars... but I also like that old B&W movie "Mighty Joe Young" |
Favorite Music | Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Johnny Cash, U2 & most of the music they play on Boise's 94.9 "The River" |
Favorite Books | Top 3 most infulential: NT Wright, "The Challenge of Jesus" (or actually the Christian Origin Series) / John Sailhamer, "OT Theology" / CS Lewis "The Chronicles of Narnia" (The Horse & His Boy Being My Favorite) |
