| Introduction | I was born and raised in Oakland, Ca., living there for my first 12 years, and the we moved to Hayward, ca. I attended Brett Harte Jr. High and then the old Hayward High School, marble columns and all on Foothill,Blvd. After High School I joined the Marine Corps for a four year enlistment terminating in a years tour in Vietnam from 1965-1966. After the military I attended Cal State Hayward obtaining a BA plus a lifetime California teachers credential. For the next 40 years I hand painted signs finishing my last ten years painting sets and signs for the movies, prior to my retirement in the latter part of 2006. |
