Introduction	Born in a pastor's home as one of seven kids, I was nurtured with the love of the Lord. Drafted in the Army at age 21, I served as an infantry paratrooper in Germany. Later, while working at Kaiser Steel, I felt called to ministry and surrendered my life for full-time vocational work. I completed my undergraduate work at California Baptist University and graduate work at Golden Gate Seminary. I have pastored both full-time and bivocationally since 1978. My wife (Sondra) and I have three children and five grandchildren.
Interests	I enjoy reading, traveling, sports, learning new things, and working with people.
Favorite music	Contemporary praise and worship, country, bluegrass, oldies rock-n-roll from the 60s, and country gospel
Favorite books	Anything by John Grisham, Robert Parker, and a host of Christian writings by many authors.
