| Introduction | Its funny where you end up when you ask God what he wants you to do. My husband Newman and I have been blessed with the amazing opportunity to move to Uganda, also known as the "Pearl of Africa" for the next year and a half to two years to work for Palmetto Medical Initiative (PMI), a non-profit organization which provides quality and sustainable healthcare to countries and people in need. Newman has been hired as the Project Director of the Masindi Kitara Medical Centre in Masindi, Uganda. I have the amazing opportunity to help out as a RN in the clinic which will be my first experience as a nurse straight out of school. This is going to be an amazing adventure for us both and we hope you will follow along with us through this blog. Thank you to everyone who has been supporting us and praying for us! |
