Introduction	I am a teacher of the Deaf/HH and work in the Saginaw Public Schools. I have been a teacher now for almost eight years and enjoy every minute I have with my students. I am originally from the Saginaw area, but moved to Sterling Heights after graduating from Michigan State University and worked for six years in the Detroit Public School system @ Detroit Day School for the Deaf. I moved back to Saginaw with my husband in 2004 and anticipated the birth of my son; who was born in March of 2005. His name is Brayden and will soon be 2-years-old. I am happy to say that I have been given wonderful opportunities to work with Hearing Impaired students both within the deaf community and the mainstreaming environment. I can not say for sure just which atmosphere I prefer at this time. I am just taking it day by day and allowing myself to accept that both of the environments are acceptable and successful. I am currently working on my Master's in Educational Technology @ CMU (off-campus~Saginaw) and have enjoyed each of the classes so far. Hope the rest of the classes will be as exciting as prior classes! We will soon find out won't we?
