| Introduction | I am an eighty-three year old gay man retired to Delaware in 2006 from my home in Pennsylvania with my longtime partner. We moved to Delaware because we could no longer afford to pay the taxes in Pennsylvania on our fixed retirement income. In February of 2024, my husband died, after I was his full-time caregiver for three years. We were together for fifty-nine years. I am now trying to navigate what years I have left with my soon to be new husband Pat who is a Canadian. Join with me on my final journey as I navigate what years I have left in this lifetime with Pat. I believe we have lived many lives and the purpose of each of our many lives is to learn. I have learned a lot in my eighty-three years and I hope to learn more spending the rest of my life with my new husband. Come along with me and read my blog and see how I navigate and complete the wonderful full life I have had so far in this incarnation. There will be plenty of laughs, joy, frustrations, sadness and always, always learning, because in the end this is what our lives are about. My life is but one perspective in the four plus billions of souls who inhabit this earth but it is unique as are all lives. |
