| Introduction | I am an 8-month old lab-chow-beagle. I was born into a world of ice and snow in suburban Illinois in December, and adopted by a foreigner named Erika. She seems reasonably nice, although her accent confuses me sometimes. I was all settled in with her in my apartment in Chicago, with plenty of friends to lick and lots of things to chew on, when things took an unexpected turn. She woke me up very early one morning in mid-July, stuffed me in a crate, and packed me off to the west coast of Canada. This is my story. |
