| Introduction | I am a professional artist & designer, living in the beautiful province of Nova Scotia. My passion is of course all things d'art and I love trying new mediums in the endeavor to create exciting ways of presenting my subject matter. My favorite subjects usually include (but are not limited to) wildlife and flora. I live with my mason husband, Philip and my "soon to be famous" son (and only child), Keith. We share our home with 3 dogs: Francessca (Frankie), Irene and Daisy as well as 3 cockatiels: Yogi, Boo Boo and Baby. I am a firm believer in the adage that "Life is what you make it" and so being an artist, I feel I have been given carte blanche for the whole shebang. In 2001 we bought the church we got married in and are currently working on turning it into my dream studio & gallery. It is named "the Kei" in honor of my son whose arrival into my life has brought with him so much happiness & goodness for me, I cannot begin to list it all here. The word Kei also means joyful (in Japanese) and one's pride and glory (in Hawaiian). |
