| Introduction | I love my God, my husband, and our girls. My life is simple. I love to bake and try out new and challenging recipes. I love being Rick's wife and Selah and Susannah's mommy. Having learned from the poor choices I have made throughout my life, my one desire is to become more like Christ and love and honor Him with all that I am. I taught at a Christian school for 5 years before staying home to raise our children. The wisdom I have gleaned from the moms and dads of my students has molded me into a better mom, and I am so thankful for all of my role models. I have also been blessed to spend time in the mission field in England, Israel, and Peru- all life changing trips. I look forward to the days when we can travel and explore new places with our children. |

| Favorite movies | We love the TV show Psych as well as British Mystery series. With my husband working in the film industry, we watch all kinds of movies, though mostly via Netflix and Redbox, having little time to get to a theater. I love historical documentaries (Ken Burns' The Civil War is my current favorite), and , for whatever reason, I am drawn to Shark Week and cheesy shark films. |
| Favorite music | Chris Tomlin, Ginny Owens, Hillsong United, 80s music, and Christmas music. I like a variety of music depending on the mood, though I mostly find myself jamming to The Wiggles with Selah. =) |
| Favorite books | The Bible, Redeeming Love, C.S Lewis books - Mere Christianity being my favorite thus far, and Tolkein's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings series |
