Introduction Adib M. Monzer Habbal is currently with the InterNetWorks Research Lab at the School of Computing, Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), as a Doctoral Researcher, and is a lecturer in the Department of Computer Science at the School of Computing. In March 2007, he received the Master’s degree in Information Technology from Universiti Utara Malaysia. Adib is actively involved in teaching, researching, and lecturing in Computer Networks, Programming, and WEB 2.0 tools. He is Internet Society (ISOC) Fellow to the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF87) Berlin, a Fellow of the International Telecommunication Union-Universiti Utara Malaysia (ITU-UUM) Asia Pacific Centre of Excellence for Rural ICT Development, and a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). He was selected as Asia-Pacific Advanced Network (APAN) Fellow to the Techs in Paradise (TIP2013) Hawaii. Adib is the recipient of the 2010 Excellent Service Award from The Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM): for his outstanding achievements to the university in teaching and research. His professional activity includes being positioned as a Technical Program Committee of many international conferences.
Interests TCP Congestion Control, Network Performance, Wireless and Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, Network Protocol Engineering, Network Simulation, and Network Applications.
