| Introduction | Gastón Pacheco Díaz was born in Córdoba City, Argentina in December the 10th of 1979. Soon, he moved to the South of the province, Rio Cuarto, where he resides nowadays. From childhood he developed skills as a penciller. At the age of 15 he participated in the comics contest “poets of the air”. It wasn’t until he was 19 that he managed to publish his work in the local humor magazine “turned around river”. In the year 2001 he started publishing cartoons in the local newspaper “Puntal” and then in the most important newspaper of the province “La voz del Interior”. In the year 2003 he made a participation in the comics magazine “Comiqueando”, from Buenos Aires City, Both the paper and the web versions, the paper version By Domus editora publishing. Later, he became a freelance penciller for advertisement which added variety to his production. Today, he continues his quest for the perfect drawing, while he finishes his College Studies of Sciences of Communication. |
| Interests | Gastón Pacheco Díaz nació en la ciudad Córdoba, Argentina, el 10 de Diciembre de 1979. Al poco tiempo, se mudó al sur de Córdoba, a la ciudad de Río Cuarto, lugar en donde reside actualmente. Desde niño ya mostraba dotes de dibujante. A los 15 años participó en el concurso de comics “Poetas del Aire”. No fue hasta los 19 años en donde pudo publicar por primera vez en la revista local de humor gráfico “Río Revuelto”. En el año 2001 comenzó a publicar humor gráfico en el diario local “Puntal” y posteriormente, lo haría en el diario “La Voz del Interior” de la ciudad de Córdoba. En el año 2003 hizo su aparición en una revista especializada en Comics “Comiqueando”, en Buenos Aires, en sus dos versiones, vía web e impresa, ésta última bajo el sello Domus Editora. Posteriormente, comenzó a desempeñarse como ilustrador Freelance en agencias de publicidad diversificando así su producción. Actualmente, continúa en la búsqueda del dibujo perfecto, mientras trabaja para pequeñas editoriales Norteamericanas. |
