Introduction	This will be the 9th year for CBC students to travel down to Jamaica and serve the wonderful people there. We work alongside two churches, Macfield Baptist Church of Hanover and Calvary Baptist Church of Savanna La Mar. This year's team consists of 20 teens and 4 adults. These students have been preparing for over 6 months. They are students who display strong Christian character year round. They are leaders in our church & youth group. Each student also had to raise over $700. While in Jamaica, we run a week of Vacation Bible School for each of the churches. The children attending the VBS enjoy hearing the stories, watching the skits and puppet shows, making crafts, and playing games. On a couple of evenings, the team will visit a local infirmary. They will sing, read Scripture and encourage the patients. We also visit an orphanage at least one time during our stay. It is great to see the children's eyes light up when they see us coming to hold them, play with them, read to them, and sing to them. This is an awesome opportunity for us. Each year, the teens come back and say it was worth all the work and every cent they had to raise to pay for this trip.
