| Interests | I have been working in the papercrafts industry almost as long as I have been scrapbooking. Sixteen years ago I discovered scrapbooking while attending a beginner class. I was hooked from the first page! I soon began teaching classes myself and quickly decided to leave my job at a publishing company to pursue a more creative career path. I taught for almost five years before I decided I needed to branch out and open a retail store. I closed my store while going through a divorce and began working as a sales rep for scrapbook and rubber stamp companies. I have dabbled in a lot of other projects along the way...I've worked as a demo artist at scrapbook conventions across the country, provided layout and design services for a small idea book, provided logo design services, as well as ongoing freelance writing and design work. I have always been obsessed with organization! I began putting together a book called Creative Spaces for Papercrafters, and while the project was forced to the back burner, I someday hope to publish it or break it into a series of articles for publication. |
