Introduction	I have the very best job, where I teach second grade at J.W. Wiseman Elementary. I work with an amazing group of people each and every day. I grew up here in Portland, and decided to become a teacher while in high school. I did my "Senior Project" in Mrs. Black's class, (my former second grade teacher) and I loved every minute of it! Finding a balance between work and family can be tough. I miss both when I'm busy with the other. While my life seems to never slow down, I love every minute of it and realize how blessed I truly am. I'm looking forward to this school year and all it entails. I still remember all the teachers in my life that made a difference. I hope to do the same for each and every one of my students.
Interests	Spending time with family and friends, sewing, and shopping.
Favorite books	I love to read anything by Nicholas Sparks.
