| Introduction | This is my second year as a Literacy Coach. I have taught for 18 years and have been in every grade level. Before becoming a Literacy Coach, I taught Reading Recovery, the love of my career. During that time, I learned to investigate and inquire. I realized that following the child, working from the known, and collaboration were so important. I grew not only as a teacher, but as a person. I can only hope that as a coach I will be nearly as effective. I am a Georgia native, but have lived in a variety of states. I love South Carolina. I have two daughters who are native South Carolinians and we have live here longer than any where else. |
