Introduction	My name is Steve and I live in North Shields, I am passionate about the natural world and birds in particular. I do most of my birding in and around Northumberland and try and get out on a daily basis. I've always been interested in nature but I only activly started going out to look for birds 9 years ago after coming across my first ever kingfisher. This fired my imagination and I quickly dusted off my childhood copy of The illustrated Book Of Birds, bought some cheap binoculars and got myself out looking for them.
