| Introduction | Come along with me on my journey to Fit,Fabulous and in a few short months... 40!As the title mentions, I have a Lapband, a band around my stomach limiting the amount of food I can eat in hopes to finally lose the weight I've struggled with for so long. In order to be banded I had to do a few tests: Attend Bariatric Surgery Seminar- 4/08 Consult with Bariatric surgeon:4/22/08 Pysche Consult: 4/25/08 Consult with Dietician: 4/25/08 PCP visit: 4/29/08 Abdominal Ultrasound: 5/6/08 Upper GI: DONE 5/7/08 Bloodwork: DONE Card Consult: 5/9/08 INSURANCE APPROVED!! 5/16/08 YAYY! panicked... took summer off to think about surgery..realized it was something I truly needed.. SURGERY DATE: 9/4/08 I DID IT!! |
