| Introduction | I grew up in SC and then moved to CA during my college years. I spent 20+ years out in the wild west before coming back to SC to take care of my ill father. While in Carolina, I reconnected with a girlhood crush...the brother of one of my best friends....and we fell in love and got married. Today we live happily in Dixie and enjoy our friends and family along with his son and my cats. |
| Interests | I have many varied interests...I love to read and learn new things, I love spirited conversations, especially with people who don't agree with me but who will respect my views as I respect theirs. I love sailing and horseback riding although it's been a while for both. I enjoy working out and staying fit and I love being married to the best husband in the world. I enjoy writing, acting, poetry and the theater. I love a good movie and bike riding in the country....preferably FLAT roads...walks on the beach and boat rides on our Carolina rivers. I've snorkled, scuba dived, parachuted out of airplanes, swam (swum?) with dolphins, and flown with stunt pilots in a jet and a bi-plane. It was there that I learned that I did NOT like being upside down at all! I was lucky enough to go up in an old WWII plane for a radio station I worked for and that was a real treat. I've roller skated, ice skated, skied on water and snow. I would do most of it again but as you get older you tend to think twice before deciding to jump out of a perfectly good airplane. I'm glad I did it but I don't know if I would do it today. If it comes up....who knows? |
