| Introduction | A soon to be 2x cancer survivor. Diagnosed January 2011 with stage 4 NS Hodgkin's Lymphoma. 12 sessions of ABVD chemo which put me in full remission as of July 2011. Clean PET and CT scans in months following chemo but end of March scan Hodgkin's back in a "huge way" so says my bedside manner doc. Course of treatment now is 3 cycles of ICE chemo, 4 days in hospital, 2+ weeks to recover. Followed by stem cell collection. BEAM chemo as inpatient and re-infusion of my own stem cells with total time in hospital for stem cell about a month. 3 more months of home quarantine. Then good as new. |
