| Introduction | Hello, I'm a former local councillor, sitting as a Lib Dem on Maghull TC (30 years), Lydiate PC (20 years) and Sefton Borough Council where I was Leader from 2004 - 2011 (16 years). I'm a Social Liberal of the left hailing originally from the Nottinghamshire coalfield. I retired from elected public office in May 2023.
