Introduction	Hi, I'm glad you stopped by. I like to say that I was born frugal. Even when I was a kid, I was fascinated with "small things." Pennies, soap slivers and old nylons were my treasures. I have learned a lot over the years to make living frugally fun, interesting and sensible. I've been around the internet since about 1995 and was the first Frugal Living Guide at About.com. It was my idea (pat me on the back) and at first, they didn't see a need for a frugal living site, but after a year or so, they accepted the topic and I got busy with it. After nine years there, I left and went to Gary Foreman's Dollar Stretcher where I helped build the community forums. So now I'm retired! Right. One of these days, maybe.
