| Introduction | I moved to Marion NC Jan. 2020. I still love all things, Montana, from the mountains and lakes in the west to the prairies and cliffs to the east. But western Montana holds my heart. I was born in Montana, #2 of 9 children, but I have lived in 7 states and in over 30 towns. I got married a year after HS, foregoing a scholarship to fashion design school in San Francisco. I am the mother of eight wonderful children and 7 grandchildren. I stuck out a bad marriage for 23 years and finally got strong enough to leave. I have been married to a wonderful man since 2001. I started sewing when I got a battery operated sewing machine for Christmas when I was 5 years old. I started designing and making doll clothes. By High School, I was sewing for others, making quilts and stuffed animals. After the birth of my first 4 children, I started doing alterations for J.C. Penney’s, under the tutelage of Gus Catalano, in Harrisburg PA, and tailoring at home. Now I design and publish patterns and try to keep up on-line. I lost my second to the youngest on June 30, 2020. He had a seizure disorder and didn't survive this last one. So, on top of everything, this is the toughest. |
| Interests | I have many and varied interests. I have dabbled in so many areas, from remodeling homes to needle crafts, but my love is sewing, right after my kids and grandkids. Sewing is my creative outlet. I love paisley fabric. And I collect Fairies and Angels. |

| Favorite music | I love music from the 70's, but I have favorites in many genres spanning many decades. |

I believe in sporks, the blending of the two.
