Introduction I'm a native Texan, who left the Lone Star State behind (for now), but not the Lone Star State of Mind. I'm a graduate of Texas A&M University - Gig 'em Aggies! I also have a master's degree from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University - Go 'Cats! I've moved all around the country, and several of those moves can be attributed to the television news business. I now anchor the 5, 6 and 11 p.m. newscasts at WWSB- ABC 7 in Sarasota, FL. I'm also a health reporter for the station. Much of my free time is spent volunteering; I'm a mentor through Big Brothers Big Sisters, a Certified Special Olympics Swim Coach, and a member of the Junior League of Sarasota and Designing Daughters. My loves are my family, my husband, Max, and my rescue rat terriers, Mattie and Jade. I love sports and I'm a fitness fanatic.
