| Introduction | As a military family we go through a lot of seperations. In order to keep in touch and for him to always know what is going on, I am keeping this blog. It is written directly to my husband. We have been married over 7 years and only spent two of our anniversaries together. He has been deployed three times to Iraq and is now in Afghanistan. We are a homeschool family. We believe that the greatest calling man has is to a family. Ministry starts in our own four walls. God shows us how important family is as Paul points out the requirements of one who would like a leading office in the church in 1.Timothy 3. Also in Malachi God says: And why [did God make you two] one? Because He sought a godly offspring [from your union]. We feel very strongly that family is underminded by society and even the church. Yet the bible says: As arrows are in the hand of a warrior, so are the children of one's youth. We would never give our weapon in time of war to the enemy. Who is influencing your arrows? |
