Introduction | Hello! Glad you could join me on this journey. I originally hail from the small West Texas town of Lamesa. I graduated from Howard Payne University in 1973 with a degree in Music Education. Upon graduation, I really did not feel the urge to be a band director, so I succumbed to my childhood dream of flying and joined the USAF. Some 28 years later I retired at the rank of Lt Col. I retired from the Air Force in 2001 and worked for two years as contract instructor teaching military strategy, then worked as a real estate broker in the Fort Walton Beach Florida area. My wife’s name is Nelda. I have four children (two daughters and two step sons), and two grandchildren (ages two and seven). |
Interests | My family, Philosophy, Golf, Motorcycles (in no particular order) |
Favorite Movies | Tossup between the Matrix series and the Trilogy series. The former because it is analogous to the ego/id, and the latter because the director was so true to the books in his re-creation on film, plus, I enjoyed the "good triumps over evil" theme. |
Favorite Music | Anything except rap, and I'm not too crazy about R&B. |
Favorite Books | About anything which stimulates thought. Joseph Campbell comes to mind; others include ones by Deepock Chopra, whom I admire, though I've only read a couple of his books. I'll put others in as I recall them. |
