Introduction	Josh and I have been married almost 12 years. Riley's our nearly-4-year-old daughter. She has a vivid imagination and completely believes she's a cat. For reasons never thoroughly diagnosed, we can't have children. So we've chosen adoption. Riley was adopted an infant, and we're currently walking the path of our second adoption. That's all. That's what most of our semi-infrequent ramblings on this blog are about.
Interests	josh loves to hunt and fish and create things, usually with metal or wood. lindsey loves to read and write be outside any time of the year. together, we love fish and laugh and watch in wonder at our girl.
Favorite books	josh: mountain-climbing books, anything by John Krakauer, harry potter lens: biographies, c.s. lewis, potter, memoirs, children's classics, and a few classics written for grown ups
