| Introduction | I am a lawyer by trade and I am passionate about writing. My background is in Human Rights, Humanitarian Law, and more specifically Asylum Law. I have worked on several asylum cases and have a deep understanding of what issues refugees around the world are currently facing. I live in Switzerland with my husband, who I just recently married last year. I am a progressive American with a global mindset and I speak Spanish, Italian, French, and am currently learning German.
