| Introduction | Hi readers! My name is Erin and this journal documents my quest for hiking's Triple Crown by completing the Pacific Crest Trail(2011), Continental Divide Trail(2013), and Appalachian Trail(201?). I always dreamed of doing a thru hike after I retire, but then I realized I don't have to wait. I'm 34yrs old and healthy. My job as a substitute teacher has given me the freedom to do the hike now. I was most inspired to do this trail by the online journals I read last season. I want to share this journey with my family and friends and I hope you enjoy the adventure too! |
