| Introduction | A full time businessman, aspiring part time food blogger. I've been meaning to start up this blog from June 2012 and finally got around to publishing the first post in September. That should give you a fairly good idea of how much I procrastinate. The blog is titled "GourmetDubai" precisely because that's what I'm NOT. I'm pretty much your average glutton, who goes around devouring vast quantities of edible material. Feeling a bit guilty in retrospect, and trying to make up for it by pretending to be a gourmet. This Blog is more an effort to lend credibility to my gluttony. I try to sift through my thoughts - post my binges to actually identify what was worth going back for! And trust me.... it takes effort - coz i tend to go back for seconds even if mud is being served. I love fair second chances...period. Hope you enjoy reading my posts, as I eat my way around the city and beyond, feeling like a pac man! My first post ironically starts with a joint in Sharjah., and that probably is not the end of it. There are some real gems hidden out there. Will surely appreciate your feedback and your suggestions on what I missed in Dubai! |
