| Introduction | I am originally from Michigan and have lived in Nevada for three years. I have been in the field of education for over 25 years. I have taught students from 1st grade through high school. I have worked at a gifted program for thirteen years and taught high school science in the U.S. Peace Corps. I also taught for the Univ. of Michigan for two years, training teachers around Michigan in science teaching methods. I have two wonderful daughters, an 8th grader at Oasis and a college sophomore who is attending Western Washington University. Both of my girls were adopted from China as one year olds and are the loves of my life. I have five siblings who live in the area and were the impetus for my moving here. |
