| Introduction | I was born in Fort Nelson, BC to a highly dysfunctional family. I grew up in Leduc, or as her mother called it, ‘The Asshole of the West.’ Currently, I am in my third (3rd) year at the University of Alberta, and am not failing. Not even close. I also work at NeWest Press as a Marketing Coordinator. I know – crazy huh! A full growned-up person job. Have you ever seen the movie High Fidelity where there’s like these two characters, Barry and Dick - that just start showing up every day, until the owner gives up and starts paying them? It was kind of like that. Actually no, it was exactly like that. I also love to write, and have one short story published in a University chronicle called Fait-Accomplit. Which is a stupid name, and it was quite a while ago. Instead of impressive publications to put on my biography, what I have instead are two (2) full one-year subscriptions to magazines that harshly rejected my writing. Now, I read the aforementioned magazines with much chagrin, adding in utterances to the likes of, ‘my piece was FAR SUPERIOR than this dribble,’ along with numerous – yet creative – expletives. |
| Interests | In my spare time I like to play poorly on my guitar. I only know the basics but my purely-sexified soulful voice makes up for the lack of technique. (Not really). I also enjoy donning my ‘hot suit’ and running through the river valley trying desperately to catch the attentions of men who are far too old for me. I enjoy Shakespeare to the point of nerdism and spent my Christmas vacation visiting The Globe Theatre / Shakespeare’s birthplace / Shakespeare’s grave / seeing the RSC production of Hamlet / watching a production of Twelfth Night / spending ₤5 on a tacky pin at the gift shop. Luckily my boy-thing (we’re not really ready to commit yet) was in pretty good humor about the whole ordeal. |
